Tjapaltjarri's success prior to 2002 was followed by his participation in a number of important exhibitions most notably at Fireworks Gallery in Brisbane where he had the opportunity to engage with international artists in the production of experimental modernist paintings and sculptures, and with Art d’Australie in Paris. His work is now highly sought after, being showcased in collections both nationally and internationally.
